THE following cases were heard at Poole Magistrates' Court:

ALFIE ROPER, 20 and of Garland Road in Poole, admitted failing without reasonable excuse to comply with the supervision requirements imposed following his release from prison. He was jailed for two weeks.

STEPHEN PAUL HUNT, 56 and of no fixed address, admitted causing serious injury to a man by driving a car ‘without due care and attention’ on the A350 in Sturminster Marshall on October 18, 2022. He was handed a 12 week jail sentence suspended for 12 months and was disqualified from driving for 12 months. He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £154 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

PACO HEPBIR, 25 and of Bournemouth, admitted five counts of theft from a shop. He stole scratch cards to the value of £102 from Central Stores in Bournemouth on January 1. He stole a shaver to the value of £649.99 from Boots in Bournemouth on October 23, 2023. He stole scratch cards to the value of £40 from the Co-op in Charminster Road, Bournemouth, on October 26, 2023. He stole a shaver to the value of £289.99 from Boots in Bournemouth on October 19, 2023. He stole scratch cards to the value of £70 from the Co-op in Ashley Road, Poole, on November 8, 2023. He also admitted to counts of failure to surrender to police / court bail at the appointed time and failure to answer to court / police bail as soon as practicable. He was jailed for seven weeks.

DANIEL REYNOLDS, 49 and of Bournemouth, admitted seven counts of harassment by breach of a restraining order on conviction. These offences were committed against a woman in April and involved him writing letters to her, attending her home and work, demanding money from her and calling her. He was jailed for 52 weeks and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £187.

MARK FERGUSON, 44 and of Hardy Road in Poole, admitted theft from a shop after stealing £198 in cash from the Co-op in Wimborne Road, Bournemouth, on June 15, 2023. He also admitted attempted theft from shop after attempting to steal money from Iceland in poole on June 16, 2023. He was ordered to pay compensation of £198.

MACAULEY HILLEBRANDT, 28 and of Woolmer Street in Emsworth, admitted speeding after exceeding the 50mph limit on A31 at St Leonard’s on September 10, 2023. He admitted driving a motor vehicle on a road after refusal of grant / revocation of driving licence on account of disability on A31 at St Leonard’s on September 10, 2023. He also admitted possession of a controlled drug of Class after being in possession of a quantity of cannabis on A31 at St Leonard’s on September 10, 2023. He got four points on his licence and was fined £80.

DENIZ KARAMANOGLU, 21 and of Bournemouth, admitted driving whilst disqualified and without insurance at Old Christchurch Road in Bournemouth on March 25. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months and handed a community order lasting until April 25, 2025, with a requirement to complete 150 hours of unpaid work. He was also ordered to pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
